Transforming Metal Into Works of Art
6'3" wide wingspan, 20" trout. I worked on this beauty all winter part time doing 2-3 hours at a time when I could. Once again it was the metal work that took my mind off of things and helped me get through a difficult time in my life.
I am a metal artist primarily working with steel, whether it be new stock or rusted old metal. I will be getting into working with copper soon. My imagination helps bring an idea into reality in the process of giving the metal a new life into something beautiful through some years of experience and trial and error. My preference in creating my metalwork consists of using the minimal use of tools which include: oxy-acetylene torches, an angle grinder, an old Lincoln tombstone arc welder, basic hand tools, and my heart and soul. As with any field of endeavor, there is always something new to learn regardless of how good you think you are. I've been blessed to have found a positive outlet in my life in my work which always enables me to calm my mind and forget everything else in life while working with the metal.
